Chainsaw Chaps: These chaps might not be the most expensive on the market, but they’ve proven to be incredibly reliable and protective. They’re the perfect balance between affordable and safe. It gives me peace of mind when my husband, Adam, goes off to work. We’ve been extremely happy with their performance and would recommend them to anyone looking for quality protection without breaking the bank.
Log Lifter: While this isn’t the exact model we use, it’s a close match and a fantastic tool for any cutting job. It makes lifting and positioning logs much simpler, so you can make more precise cuts with ease. It’s an essential piece of equipment that helps increase efficiency and reduce strain.
Non-Fogging Metal Goggles: Eye safety is a top priority, and these goggles have delivered. They’re not just great at protecting our eyes from flying debris, but they also stay fog-free, even during long hours of work. Comfort and visibility are key, and these goggles offer both, making them a great investment for anyone working with chainsaws or in similar environments.
Chainsaw: This is the Stihl model we use. Love the chainsaw. Zero problems. Because we have a lot black jacks on the property it gets full of dirt and the chain gets ruined fast. Switching to a carbide chain was worth it in our case.
Carbide chain: The kind of chain makes a big difference in how much it skips and jumps. The last chain was an aggressive fast cutting chain and it skipped all over the place. We purchased our carbide chain locally but we highly recommend getting a good chain for your chainsaw. Carbide chains typically last longer too.
